United International University (UIU) Innovation Hub

United International University (UIU), a leading private university in Bangladesh, has launched its Research & Innovation (R&I) week at its Innovation Hub. Event attended by internationally acclaimed researchers and senior faculties, featured Princeton University Professor M. Zahid Hasan, a renowned physicist and fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences. Hasan has written over 280 peer-reviewed journal articles and is the most cited experimenter in research areas such as the search and discovery of novel phases of matter, emergent new particles, and quantum effects. He has worked at Stanford’s SLAC National Accelerator and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and has received the American Competitiveness & Innovation Fellowship for leadership in the field of physics.

Program also featured Md. Abul Kashem Mia, PhD, Vice-Chancellor of UIU, Professor Emeritus M. Rezwan Khan, Director of IAR, UIU, and Chairman of Power Grid, Bangladesh. The R&I week aims to inspire students to have a research-driven mindset and innovate for the betterment of the economy.
