Course Description: ENG 099 is an intensive remedial course designed to help students improve their academic English skills. The writing component focuses on identifying and correcting common mistakes in grammar, structure and usage. East West University new students will learn to write clear, well-structured sentences and practice combining them into more complex sequences and cohesive paragraphs.
This course also includes targeted grammar review and instruction aimed at reinforcing essential language rules. In addition, specific sessions are devoted to developing reading comprehension and enhancing fluency in spoken English. EWU ENG 099 provides a strong foundation for success in future academic coursework.
