
Dhaka, 18 May 2025 — North South University (NSU) warmly ushered in its summer 2025 Executive MBA and graduate business students with an engaging orientation evening that brought together future business leaders, industry stalwarts, and academic visionaries. Designed to bridge the gap between academia and the modern business world, the event highlighted NSU’s commitment to holistic, industry-aligned education.
This orientation featured twelve parallel roundtable discussions, each centered on core business disciplines—Marketing, Management, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management and Management Information Systems. These sessions fostered deep engagement between nearly 200 new students and more than 50 esteemed alumni and industry leaders, representing prestigious organizations such as bKash, PwC, Nestlé, HSBC, Square Group and Grameen Digital Health Solutions.
Distinguished NSU leadership— Abdul Hannan Chowdhury vice chancellor and Abdur Rob Khan treasurer and pro vice chancellor (in-charge)—graced the occasion, reinforcing the university’s mission to combine academic excellence with real-world relevance.

In recognition of academic excellence, NSU also awarded merit-based scholarships, including a 50% tuition waiver for the top-performing entrant and 25% waivers for two others — celebrating their promise at the outset of this academic journey.
