Southeast University, Bangladesh and Universiti Malaysia Perlis Sign Letter of Intent

Southeast University (SEU) and Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) have signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) to strengthen academic and research collaboration between the two institutions.

Strategic partnership aims to strengthen collaboration in joint academic programs and research initiatives, leveraging the expertise and resources of UniMAP’s Centre of Excellence for Advanced Computing (CoE AdvComp) and Faculty of Electronic Engineering & Technology (FKTEN) alongside SEU’s capabilities. Key areas of focus include advanced computing, semiconductor technology, cybersecurity, and data science. Prof. Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam and Prof. Ts. Dr. Zaliman Sauli emphasized the transformative potential of this collaboration and the importance of fostering global academic partnerships.

North South University VC at Times Higher Education Southeast Asia Summit 2024

North South University Vice Chancellor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury spoke at the Times Higher Education Southeast Asia Summit 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where experts from academia, industry, and policy discussed steps to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in higher education.
