
British Council in collaboration with Brac University and Brac Bank successfully organized two prestigious national competitions — the FameLab Science Communicators Competition 2025 and the English Speech Competition. Both events highlighted student achievement, public speaking, and science communication skills among Bangladeshi youth.
FameLab 2025 Held at Brac University Auditorium
The FameLab Science Communicators Competition 2025, a globally renowned platform for science communication, took place at the Brac University Auditorium on Saturday. Students from grades 9 to 12 presented scientific topics in engaging and simplified formats.
After a series of school-level and regional heats, 10 finalists competed in the national finale. Participants also received intensive training during a two-day masterclass led by UK-based science presenter Kenneth Douglas Farquhar.

English Speech Competition Champions Confident Communication
English Speech Competition part of the British Council’s broader IELTS and youth education initiatives, was held on Sunday at the British Council Auditorium on Fuller Road, Dhaka. Supported by Brac University and Brac Bank, the competition featured students from 33 schools across five divisions of Bangladesh.
Finalists advanced through preliminary, regional, and national rounds, showcasing their English language proficiency, critical thinking, and public speaking skills.

- Group B: Aaron Nafi, Halishohor Cantonment Public School and College
