Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) participated in the launch event of the DS2S Network in Bangalore, India from October 15 to 17, 2024. It led by AUST Pro Vice Chancellor Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman involved discussions with industry leaders from Bangladesh, Germany, India and Vietnam.
DS2S Network aims to equip students with digital skills that transcend traditional boundaries, aligning with industry needs in fields like AI, Data Science and Digital Entrepreneurship. Industry giants like Cisco, IBM, SAP, Tech Mahindra Foundation, Lenovo and Capgemini contributed to discussions on innovative educational models.
It formed a Steering Committee and specialized working groups, focusing on addressing digital skills gaps through micro-credentials and gamified learning experiences. AUST’s participation in this initiative is an important milestone in enhancing its commitment to sustainability and digital skills education, further strengthening international collaborations.
