
Daffodil International University Explores Global Partnership with Arizona State University, USA
As part of its ongoing efforts to expand international collaboration Daffodil International University (DIU) is actively exploring a strategic academic partnership with Arizona State University (ASU) one of the leading research universities in the United States.
On 4 June 2025, Syed Raihan-Ul-Islam Deputy Director of International Affairs at DIU visited the ASU Tempe Campus to discuss potential collaboration opportunities. During his visit, he met with key academic leaders including:
- Julia Rosen, Vice President of Global Academic Initiatives at ASU
- Susan Edgington, Executive Director and Head of Operations at ASU
- Chris Hill, Region CEO of Asia Pacific at Cintana Education
The meeting focused on exploring a future academic partnership that aligns with DIU’s vision of internationalization and innovation in higher education.
The visit also included a guided tour of ASU’s cutting-edge research and innovation facilities such as:

- ASU BioDesign Institute
- School of Earth and Space Exploration
This initiative is a part of DIU’s mission to foster global academic collaboration, enhance research capabilities, and provide international exposure to its students and faculty.
