Department of Law at East West University successfully organized the 4th Intra-Department Moot Court Competition on 30–31 May 2025. Two-day legal event brought together nineteen student teams from various academic semesters, competing across four challenging rounds: Preliminary, Quarter-Final, Semi-Final and Final.
Preliminary Rounds held on 30 May were judged by eight distinguished early-career legal professionals and former university mooters. Final Round conducted on 31 May was adjudicated by a panel of eminent legal experts: Dr. Shahnaz Huda, Dr. Rumana Islam and Sk Samidul Islam additional metropolitan sessions judge, Dhaka. Panel emphasized the role of moot court competitions in enhancing legal education through experiential learning and courtroom simulation.

Award Ceremony was attended by Nabaat Tasnima Mahbub chairperson and associate professor and Md. Mehedi Hasan associate professor of law at East West University. Entire competition was conducted under the guidance of professor Muhammad Ekramul Haque with organizational leadership from faculty members Farzana Rifat Siddique, Khandker Saad At Tanbir, Nur-A Ariya Alam and Mashraba Naziat.
This successful law student competition once again highlighted East West University’s commitment to providing practical legal training, promoting academic excellence in legal education and fostering the next generation of legal professionals in Bangladesh.
