North South University (NSU) a leading private university in Bangladesh has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence and student support by offering up to 100% tuition fee scholarships to top-performing students in the summer 2025 semester.
At the freshmen orientation program held on May 17, 2025, NSU officially announced that 75 newly admitted undergraduate students were selected for full or partial tuition fee waivers based on their exceptional results in the NSU summer admission test.

- 3,215 new undergraduate students enrolled across 19 departments under four academic schools.
- 101 students earned eligibility for merit-based scholarships.
- 75 students accepted the offer and completed their admissions.
- 25 students received 100% tuition waivers, with 21 completing enrollment.
- Scholarships awarded based on highest scores in the admission test.
Orientation event began with the national anthem and a powerful documentary showcasing NSU’s history, achievements and global reputation which fostering pride among the new students.
Program was attended by Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan advisor to the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources as the chief guest and was presided over by Abdul Hannan Chowdhury vice chancellor of NSU.

🎓 NSU Undergraduate Merit-Based Scholarships Abstract
North South University (NSU) offers generous tuition waivers for outstanding undergraduate applicants based on their academic achievements and NSU admission test performance.
✅ Eligibility Criteria for Tuition Waivers
1. Top 10 Admission Test Performers
- 100% tuition waiver for applicants who rank among the top 10 in the NSU undergraduate admission test.
2. Outstanding SSC & HSC Results
- Full tuition waiver (100%) if the applicant meets the following criteria:
- GPA 5.00 (excluding 4th subject) in either SSC or HSC, and
- At least GPA 4.80 (excluding 4th subject) in the other.
- Must also have a satisfactory NSU admission test score.
3. O-Level and A-Level Excellence
- Full tuition waiver (100%) for candidates who achieve:
- 7 ‘A’ grades in O-Level (including best 7 subjects), and
- 3 ‘A’ grades in A-Level, with a
- Satisfactory score in the NSU admission test.
