3ZERO Club Orientation at North South University Promotes Youth-Led Innovation and Sustainability

Dhaka, Bangladesh — The 3ZERO Club Orientation 2025 at North South University (NSU) launched a powerful new chapter in youth-led efforts toward social change, sustainability and innovation.

The orientation session welcomed distinguished guests including:

  • Professor AKM Waresul Karim, Dean, School of Business and Economics, NSU
  • Professor Sharif Nurul Ahkam, Director, North South Social Impact Initiative
  • Mirza M. Ferdous, Senior Lecturer, Department of Accounting & Finance
  • Ankita Sohel, Manager, 3ZERO Global Centre

Their insights inspired students to take active roles in building a more equitable and sustainable world. As part of NSU’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 3ZERO mission — zero exclusion, zero carbon, and zero poverty — this orientation aimed to equip young changemakers with tools for impactful action.

This event is part of North South University’s broader initiative to promote social entrepreneurship, youth empowerment and climate-conscious innovation across Bangladesh.
